Easter-themed baked treats including muffins, bunny-shaped cookies, and colorful decorations on a festive table.

Cute Easter Baking Inspiration

When Easter comes, I always feel a burst of energy in the kitchen, and I love trying new Easter baking ideas. Alongside the ham and eggs, a little sweetness is a must. Every year, I bake — it’s a tradition. A braided sweet bread is always on my list, and I like trying a new recipe each time.

I also like to make the Easter table a bit playful. Little chick or bunny-shaped treats always bring a smile. This year, for example, I want to try a bunny-shaped sweet pastry I saw in a TikTok video. I’m excited, but also a bit nervous it will keep its shape. Of course, classic Linzer cookies are perfect too. They hold up well and taste amazing. To help your treats keep their form, here are a few ideas I’ve been enjoying. Bunny Cookie Cutters
Shaped cookies are a simple way to make your baking feel festive. Bunny cutters, stars, or eggs instantly bring the Easter spirit. Even with minimal decorating, the cookies look special.

I love using this bunny silicone mold around Easter. It has 24 little cavities, perfect for making chocolates, cookies, or mini cakes. You can even use it for jelly, ice cubes, or festive cupcake toppers.

The silicone is flexible, so treats pop out easily without breaking. It’s also great for DIY projects — like homemade soaps — if you want a cute bunny shape for crafts instead of food.

I recently discovered this adorable set of Easter cookie cutters. The set comes with five different shapes — a little chick, a carrot, an egg, a bunny, and another cute rabbit — perfect for adding some Easter charm to your baking.

They’re made of stainless steel, so they hold up well and cut through cookie dough cleanly. I love that each shape is distinct, which makes decorating so much easier and more fun. Even simple sugar cookie dough instantly looks festive with these cutters.

I recently found this 2-pack of Easter silicone molds, and they’re so handy. Each mold has 27 cavities in cute bunny and egg shapes, perfect for mini chocolates, cookies, or gummies.

The non-stick silicone makes it easy to pop out treats, and it’s great for experimenting with fun recipes. You can even use them for pet treats if you want to include your furry friends in the Easter fun!

If we’re already baking, muffins are also a perfect fit for Easter. They can be decorated in so many ways. You can make chocolate or vanilla base cakes, even a carrot-cake version, with countless toppings, little figures, and chocolates. One year, I even made little bunny bottoms out of marzipan for the muffin tops — it was a huge hit.
If the muffin mold gets a bit worn out, or if an accident happens like mine, which I accidentally put on the stove flame 😄, it’s worth getting a new one — even from here.
Of course, at this time of year, all sorts of baked treats are welcome. And here’s a great cookbook by Dorothy Kern with cookie and brownie recipes that was a huge hit.

This 2-pack of silicone muffin pans is super handy for holiday baking. Each pan has 12 cups with a reinforced metal frame, so they keep their shape perfectly.
They’re great for making cupcakes, muffins, egg bites, mini tarts, or even using as molds for cookies. The non-stick silicone makes it easy to remove baked treats cleanly, which is perfect for festive desserts like Easter or Christmas goodies.

Dorothy Kern recipes are easy to follow, delicious, and full of fun flavor ideas.
